EXPLORING Life and its purpose starts at the beginning. There are 2 main choices.

1) Creator God made all we see, hear, touch, smell and taste
or

2) Random chance occurred and all we have just happened everything went from DISORDER to ORDER randomly. Like tearing up a $100 bill in an airplane and throwing it out the door and after doin it more than a trillion times it all lands on the ground intact as a $100 bill......(just wont happen)

Genesis 1:1 says "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." We see 3 key elements of the universe here TIME, SPACE and MATTER.

Random chance says, well it doesn't really say anything or else it wouldn't be random.

So do we see in our Universe today examples of created order or happenstance?? Science shows order/repeatable steps which demonstrates God Creator and not random happenstance.

Both take faith, the 1st one (God Creator) is a STEP of faith in the light of creation the 2nd (Random Chance) is a blind leap of faith in the dark.

Take a moment for yourself and observe a humming bird, it has delicate wings, intricate design, creative movements, senses of sight, smell, taste, hearing all observable. A very blessed example of God's creative ability. Or take for example the human eye, even Darwin admitted the human eye was too wonderfully made for random chance to have occurred.

WHO then is GOD??............. by definition GOD is:

Omnipotent (Almighty) Omniscience (All knowing)
Omnipresent (Present everywhere) Eternal
Sovereign Majestic
Just to name a few!

Why did God create all we See, Hear, Feel, Touch and Taste?

It was and always will be for HIS own GLORY.

Psalms 19 says 1 The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows his handiwork. 2 Day unto day uttereth speech, And night unto night showeth knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor language; Their voice is not heard. 4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun.

Hebrews(ASV) 3 vs. 4 For every house is builded by some one; but he that built all things is God.

What is the purpose of the this world? It is to bring Glory to God and not ourselves.

Bible states in Malachi 1:11 11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the Gentiles, saith Jehovah of hosts.

When is it that all mankind should be ready to Glorify, Honor, and bring Praise to God? Today! Jesus Christ said,

Rev 22:12 “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay everyone for what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” 14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. 15 Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. (ESV)

HOW does all fit together?

By Knowing the Character of God

1st There is the need to acknowledge God, believing all of His characteristics.. all powerful, all knowing, present everywhere, eternal, sovereign, majestic...but also last but not least that God is a God of wrath against evil and a judgment is to come.

Heb 9:27(ESV) And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.

Psalm 7 :11-12 God is a righteous judge, and a God who has indignation every day. If a man does not repent, He(God) will sharpen His sword; He has bent His bow and made it ready.

Then check your own Character out...

Man's Condition of Depravity & Condemnation

Take a MIRROR to your life.... who are you in light of God's judgment? Most men declare themselves to be good descent person.... Is this really true? Take the TEST!

1) Have you ever told a lie? How many times?

2) Have you ever stolen something....small, copyrighted etc.??

3) Have you ever looked lustfully at the opposite sex?

4) Have you ever used the Lord's name in vain, as a cuss word? (called blaspheme)

These are only 4 of the 10 commandments God gave Moses in Exodus 20. If God were to judge you by these standards would you be guilty or innocent?

If you are guilty (as I am) and you stand before God on judgment day all alone before His Holy throne and a screen rolls the many sins you have committed , what sentence will be handed down upon you? Heaven or Hell? Remember God's standards are 100% perfect, holy, & righteous.

The Bible tells us in Proverbs 17:15 "He who justifies the wicked and he who condems the righteous both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord."

God cannot simply overlook your sin He must do justly!

The question each person must then ask if God being Holy and will not justify the wicked and I am sentenced fairly/justly to Hell is there any other hope?

God's Action

While God does maintain His holiness and justice, the Bible also affirms God Is Love, and that in love He has responded to the plight of man.

1 John 4: 8-10 states God is Love. By this the love of God is manifested in us, that God sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and set His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. 26 It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Romans 3:23-26

Man's RESPONSE.

Repent and place your faith and trust in God alone!

Repentance begins with a recognition and confession that what GOD says about us is true-we have sinned.

"For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. Against You, You only, I have sinned and done what is evil in Your sight, so that You are justified when you speak and blameless when You Judge." Psalm 51: 3-4

Genuine recognition of our sin-filled-ness and guilt will also lead to genuine sorrow, shame and even hatred for what we have done.

For what I am doing, I do not understand: for I am not practing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate. Romans 7:15

Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from this body of death? Romans 7:24

Apparent sincerity of confession alone is never definite evidence of genuine repentance! It must be accompanied by a turning away from sin.

Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean: remove the evil of your deeds from My sight. Cease to do evil. Isaiah 1:16

...therefore every tree (person) that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown in the fire (Hell). Matthew 3:10

What is FAITH?

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

... and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform. Romans 4:21

Faith based on Promises of GOD

For God so loved the World, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal Life!! John 3:16

Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved... Acts 16:31

Believer Exemplifies..... :

.......worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh. Philippians 3:3

Basis of Genuine Salvation has occured

True conversion: A true Christian is a new creature and will live a life that reflects God's radical work of re-creation in his/her life.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things passed away; behold new things have come. 2 Cor.5:17

You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? Matt 7:16

Assurance of Salvation based of examining ones self in light of Scripture.

Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you NOT recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you- unless indeed you fail the test? 2Corthians 13:5

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have Eternal Life. 1 John 5:13

The whole book of 1 John in the Bible is written so one can know whether the fruit they see in their life reflects God's work of changing them into Christ likeness or if it is self driven religion. If someone claims to have Christ active in their life looking back at the past year they should be able to see victory over sin. Not perfection but a perfecting change taking place. A love to read, obey and study God's commandments. No longer harboring hate and anger towards others in a long term way, willing to forgive. A true love for other believers.
